Sunday Evening Hearts - December 1, 2019

On Sunday evenings,  Martin Hansen hosts a scripture study hour at his home. I've stopped going because I wasn't getting out of it what I'd hoped. He asked if we (me and hubs) were coming tonight because he'd brought us back a Diana of Ephesus from his trip abroad a couple weeks ago.

We went and were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only ones there besides his family.  We studied for the hour, but afterwards talked. It was a wonderful conversation about extended family and the problems we face with them at times.  The connection I felt with them was so satisfying.  Martin commented at the end that our conversation was probably the real reason we'd gotten together that evening.  I agree.

Here's my new Diana:

She has 30 breasts and is my hero.

I got a little time to work on paintings tonight- I figured out how to choose colors better from pictures and how to document them on 3x5 cards. I'll put them into a recipe file and use them for references in the future.

I fit in two paintings tonight. Very satisfying!  Linework will happen tomorrow.
