Coming Up for Air

I'm still alive! I think I mislead people in my blog just a bit that I have tons of time for art, craft, cooking or whatever. In truth, I don't really! My free time is a bit limited and right now I'm spending it preparing a submission to Cloth Paper Scissors for a new publication they're doing. The deadline is March 4th. Wish me luck! Have a wonderful day, all of you, and be happy!

Every Day is Valentine's Day

I didn't get married until I was 37 years old. It took me a looooooooong time to find a good man. My dating history had consisted of: You've Thrown a Monkey Wrench Into My Life But I Think I'll Marry This Teenager Instead Of You Man, I Want You to Help Me Raise My Daughter But I Don't Want to Marry You Man, and I Love You But Not Enough to Marry You Man.   Brian and I met online .  I finished the big heart patterns! Yay! I have had a wonderfully supportive husband the past couple of days, letting me work like a maniac finishing this up. I now have a (more or less) permanent photo setup IN MY BATHROOM of all places. The light through my window in the morning is just heavenly... Anyway, the hearts are 6" tall (that's 15 cm for all you not stuck in Imperial measurement systems) and can be enlarged a bit if you like. I love how they turned out.  You can use the same pattern two ways to give you variations. This is the open-centered one. Guess what you can do with it?  Ta-da! Potpourri basket!
